California has many attractions.
California is located on the West Coast of the United States, just facing the Pacific Ocean. It is one of the states with the largest natural variety of the country. In California you can find lush forests, but also deserts, beaches, mountains and a huge diversity of fauna and flora. As if this were not enough, also it has large cities marvel at its towering skyscrapers and engineering known worldwide as the Golden Gate Bridge.
Los Angeles and San Francisco
Los Angeles is the second largest city in the United States. It includes tourist districts of Hollywood, famous for its film industry, and Beverly Hills, a place full of mansions that are home to many celebrities. Beaches such as Venice, Santa Monica and Redondo are ideal for surfing. San Francisco is a sophisticated city with great cultural activity and nightlife. Its great attraction is the Golden Gate Bridge. It is near the famous Silicon Valley.
Yosemite National Park
It is west of the Sierra Nevada mountains and covers an area of 3000 kilometers. It is world famous and is visited by almost 3 million tourists each year. It is full of meadows with wild flowers and impressive waterfalls. The most beautiful part is Yosemite Valley, which is crossed by the Merced River. Some of its attractions are the silhouette of Half Dome and the bulk of the captain and the fall of Yosemite Falls.
The wine route and the Valley of Death
Vineyards Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, are famous throughout the world. They are surrounded by ranches where you can still perceive the imprint of "American Far West." Nearby is the Napa Valley, the most important wine region of California. Another famous Valley of Death is located near the border with Nevada and recognized as one of the driest deserts of the United States. Still, it has a strange beauty.
Palm Springs and Laguna Beach
It's a small town, frequented mainly by wealthy individuals. It has luxury hotels and restaurants, as well as several golf courses. Nearby is the National Park Cassava, where own flora and fauna inhabiting the Mojave Desert. Laguna Beach is in Orange County and early twentieth century was inhabited by a community of artists.
